Tip Sheet for Transfer Students
Many of your students will attend a Community College for a year or two then transfer to a four-year school. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation in conjunction with NACAC has created a tip sheet on tips for Transfer Students.
The tips are:
1. Plan Ahead: Meet with an Advisor or Transfer Specialist
2. Enroll Full-Time
3. Research: Make a list of schools you would like to Transfer to no later than the end of your first semester
4. Get Involved: Connect with Faculty who can serve as references
5. Apply Early: Be aware of deadlines for Financial Aid
