NACAC has just released its annual State of College Admission report. Here are some quick highlights: 4 percent growth in Freshman Undergraduate Applications (2016-2017), 65 percent average acceptance rate at Four-Year institutions in 2016, and 81 percent of Colleges reported that grades were of “considerable importance” in the admission decision.
